The 'Ragged Victorians - The great unwashed' are a non-profit making organisation, working closely with museums, event planners, period estates & properties, to educate and enhance their visitors experience.

2025 Events list

 

 

May 3rd - 5th : Festival of History @ Lincoln Castle, Lincoln.

May 10th/11th : A Victorian Weekend @ Blaenavon Ironworks, Blaenavon, Wales.

June 21st/22nd : Open Gardens @ Beeley, Nr Matlock, Derbyshire.

June 28th : Blaenavon Heritage Day, Blaenavon, Wales.

July 5th : Victorian day @ Gladstone Pottery museum, Stoke-on-Trent.

August 16th/17th : Victorian Weekend @ Chiltern Open Air Museum, Bucks.

August 30th/31st : Victorian Weekend @ Weald & Downland Living Museum, Chichester.

 

The group has PLI cover for up to 5 million and can provide a risk assessment and method statement when necessary. The 'Ragged Victorians' are a non profit making organisation and relies on the kind generosity of it's members, volunteering to attend events.

 

Fees charged are subject to what you, the organiser of the event, can supply our volunteers.
